Sam Shriver grew up in Washington, D.C., raised at the crossroads of the old political paradigm and an explosion of identity politics. The call for accountability and a concurrent challenging of the roles of white, male and masculine caused Sam to take a deep dive into the origins of these parts of his identity. This search is what ultimately led him to AIBM.
He spent the first part of his education and career back and forth between China and the U.S., learning how to communicate across cultures contending for hegemonic power. He returned to advocate and message a new platform for economic-driven environmental policy in Colorado. At AIBM, Sam is bringing his unique communications experience to introduce a much-needed and challenging conversation to help boys and men find grounding in the modern world.
