Trained in psychology and public health, Dr. Griffith’s program of research focuses on developing anti-racism approaches to achieve racial, ethnic, and gender equity in health. Dr. Griffith advocates for men’s health worldwide. He specializes in policy and programmatic interventions to pursue men’s health equity, and to promote Black men’s health and well-being. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, and he is a contributor to and co-editor of two books on men’s health – Men’s Health Equity: A Handbook, and Health Promotion with Adolescent Boys and Young Men of Colour: Global Strategies for Advancing Research, Policy, and Practice in Context.
