I am a third-year Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, with a Master’s in Economics and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil. My research focuses on the effects of technology in education, gender achievement gaps, and behavioral outcomes in schools. Growing up in Brazil, I witnessed how socioeconomic disparities shape opportunities, which inspired my interest in understanding societal challenges. As a parent and researcher, I aim to produce research that serves as a foundation for policies supporting human development, with a particular focus on boys and men.
