Emily is an economics PhD student at the University of Notre Dame. Her research focuses on trends in demographic and health outcomes, particularly marriage, fertility, mental health, and risky behaviors. Current projects explore the role of technology and public policy in shaping these outcomes. For her AIBM fellowship, she studies the effects of pornography consumption and how government regulation impacts access and use. Originally from Kentucky, Emily earned a BS in economics from the University of Louisville.
