Alanna is the Associate Director at AIBM, bringing a rich background in research, data analysis, project management, and social policy. Her experience spans government, academia, and nonprofit sectors. Before AIBM, she was the Statewide Data Program Manager at the California Office of Data and Innovation, focusing on data policies, standards, and partnerships. She previously worked at Harvard University’s Opportunity Insights, translating research on economic mobility into policy solutions for cities, foundations, and nonprofits. She has also led data and evaluation projects for a large social services organization and served as an analyst, project manager and research assistant at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Princeton University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and currently lives in the SF Bay Area.
