Peter Q. Blair is a faculty member at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, where he co-directs the Project on Workforce. He is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and leads the BE-Lab. His research focuses on educational and labor market inequality, residential segregation, occupational licensing, and skill-based hiring (STARs). Blair holds a Ph.D. in applied economics from Wharton, an M.Sc. in theoretical physics from Harvard, and a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics from Duke. His love for economics developed from selling fruit with mom and his six brothers in the Bahamas.
