Shedrick Garrett is a Ph.D. candidate in developmental psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a Ford Predoctoral and NSF Graduate Research Fellow, his research examines the complex interactions between online social experiences and adolescent development. With the AIBM, Garrett will investigate how real-time changes in social and emotional context shape boys’ online sports betting behavior and attitudes.
