Fernando Quijano Franky

Fernando Quijano Franky is a PhD candidate in Organizational Behavior at UNC-Chapel Hill, specializing in work-family dynamics and gender equality. His research, supported by the American Institute of Boys and Men’s Graduate Research Fellowship, examines how engaged fatherhood and spousal dynamics shape workplace attitudes and outcomes. Drawing from his upbringing with a stay-at-home father, international experience across Colombia, the U.S., and Norway, and his recent transition to fatherhood, Fernando explores how fatherhood reshapes men’s relationship to work and how engaging in caregiving roles can influence not only their well-being and career trajectories but also those of their spouses.
